Relativity of understanding of moral concepts and actions Ibn Bajja as model

Abstract

Ibn Bajja linked morals to the cognitive aspect. He spoke of the way in which man acquires moral concepts, first through physical knowledge and the abstracting them as holistic meaning in the mind .he emphasized that humans are not on the same level in terms of knowledge. their ears are different ,there is the sensory and there is the rational ,and there those who combine the senses ,and the mind in knowledge .and there are those who transcend the acquired knowledge ,acquired  from the material words.

The rely on other sources such as mysticism ,with both its conjecture and the theoretical  rationale ,there for all of them don’t have the same cognitive capabilities ,they don’t look at the facts at the same level. this disparity contributed to the difference and diversity of concepts in terms of perception and ratification As well as the disparity in their view of the eligibility of actions ,or not which resulted in moral relativism .the main cause of which is cognitive relativism, among the factors that contributed to moral Relativism are the different canons and   laws, as well as the different natures, and customs of people .

Ibn Bajja called for the necessity of returning to reason sometimes .to sharia at times ,to contacting the active intellect at other times .as the best  means to judge the sincerity of perceptions ,saying and actions.
