The Situation Of Ukrainian Jews 1791-1917

Abstract

This study seeks to analyze the political developments of the Jews of Ukraine during the rule of the tsars, as they form an integral part of Ukrainian society, through research into the history of the Jews of Ukraine throughout history, the study of Immigration and integration, and how the Jews adapted to the Society of Ukraine over the centuries, starting from the recognition by Catherine II of the right to live especially during the reign of the Russian tsars.
