Geographical potential in Najaf Governorate for the establishment of smart cities

Abstract

              One of the recent and important topics is the study of smart cities as one of the forms of sustainable development. What distinguishes smart cities is the social, environmental and spatial dimension. Because of the increase in the problems of current cities in light of the rapid development of modern technologies, and the rules and standards known in city planning have become insufficient to meet the requirements of cities, and here lies the main role in developing planning solutions with spatial dimensions that suit the future needs of cities in the information age.
