The Poetry of Rejection in the Poetry of Muhammad Talib Muhammad: Selected Poems

Abstract

The focus of this research is on the poetry of Basra poet Muhammad Talib, with a particular emphasis on the poetics of rejection. An introduction to poetry and its connection to the theme of rejection marks the beginning of the study. Various themes within the poems are identified by the researcher, including the poet's personal, artistic, and cosmic perspective. The research concludes with several findings, most notably the poet's ability to express his rejection through the rich linguistic resources at his disposal, creating a unique poetic world where the poem and the poet engage in a dynamic dialogue.
