Implications of the saying in Surat Al-Alaq
Abstract
Pragmatics is concerned with studying everything that would contribute to the success of the communicative process through appropriate linguistic use, which makes the utterance perform its tasks in a way that helps the recipient understand the speaker’s intentions and achieve benefit from the communicative process. The implications of the utterance are considered among the important procedural tools in pragmatic research This research sheds light on the concept of the implications of speech and how to apply its mechanisms to Qur’anic texts. It then looks at the extent of the importance of these mechanisms in revealing the underlying meanings of what is said that the Qur’anic text may carry, and the importance of those meanings in conveying the speaker’s intentions to the present and cosmic recipient. Especially since research into the meaning and the other meaning within the sacred text may contribute to getting it out of stagnation within the confines of history, taking into account that talking about the implications of the statement within the Qur’anic text does not mean completely restricting what God Almighty intends from this blessed speech. In addition to some opinions, narratives and historical events that cannot be considered certain or confirmed.
