Meanings of the names of the Quranic Surahs The long ones and their relationship to the objectives of the Holy Quran

The aim of the research is to study the legal implications of the long surahs in the Holy Quran by extracting those implications for the names of the long surahs and explaining their relationship to the content of the surah and studying the relationship between the names of the long surahs and the reasons for revelation. To achieve those objectives, the researcher used the inductive approach to collect scientific material, and the analytical approach to analyze that material and extract results. The research concluded that the legal implications of the names of the long surahs indicate that the naming came according to the context of the revelation of each surah and what it included of topics and themes, and that the dimensions carried by the names of the long surahs include remembrance of God’s power and the fluency of His wisdom, as well as the establishment of faith and monotheism with evidence and miracles.
