Presentation and delay in the sermon of Mrs. Zahra Semantic approach

Abstract

This study is a humble attempt to uncover the connotations of introduction and delay in the sermon of Lady Zahra, and approaching her desire in using this method that enabled her to freely control the change of the positions of words in the linguistic structures, in order to reach the required meanings.

The research revealed that the presentation and the delay were a clear stylistic feature of Mrs. Zahra's sermon. Because it is a departure from the general rule, by diverting the words from their original positions for a purpose required by the denominator. The attempt to change the places of some words in the texts in which this stylistic feature is mentioned will lead to the disappearance of the artistic beauty that resulted from the careful selection of the vocabulary and the selection of their positions within the structures. This reveals an exceptional mentality and a superior ability to act in compositions, a precise experience with meaning and methods of producing it. Especially if we take into consideration the circumstances of the text's production. It was issued by a woman in the prime of life, in a society that despised the female and did not place her fornication, as the Lady Zahra stood in the middle of the mosque, in the presence of a large crowd of immigrants and supporters, a position that does not allow her to choose words or compositions to perform meanings that shake in her chest, however We find her improvised sermon with a high content, and she gave it a priori without prior preparation, and it addresses the mind and conscience together.
