Narrations of Ibn Asaker between acceptance and rejection according to Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani

This research dealt with the position of Ibn Hajar (852 AH / 1448 AD) on the narrations of Ibn Asaker, as he relied on his writings in most of his books that specialized in the science of men, including Tahdheeb at-Tahdheeb, At-Taqreeb at-Tahdheeb, Expediting the Benefit, and Lisan al-Mizan. Asaker and defend him in order to prove his authenticity, and this confirms the extent of his trust in him and the intensity of his dependence on him. As for his rejection of his narrations, it is clear through his disbelief in them, his promise of delusions, and other things that we clarified in the folds of the research.
The research was divided into an introduction and four axes. The first dealt with: the scientific status of Ibn Asaker and the importance of his writings. The second dealt with Ibn Hajar’s approach in relying on Ibn Asaker’s writings and their importance to him. We clarified in the third: his approach in accepting Ibn Asaker’s novel. As for the fourth topic, he dealt with his approach in the unacceptability of some of his narrations.
