Abstract

The research came under the title (Symbolic Violence in Pre-Islamic Poetry / Its Manifestations and Manifestations), where the researcher looked at the linguistic and idiomatic significance of the concept of violence in its general form. Underestimation) as the most important aspect of its manifestations, and explained the diversity in its representations and images. He also addressed (psychological alienation) as an important aspect of it. Its forms varied, from the theft of privileges and social prestige, to the usurpation of identity of belonging, to the usurpation of gender identity, to the oppression, marginalization and slavery of man. When symbolic violence took a declared and apparent form, represented by the use of linguistic symbols and verbal signs, through in-depth analysis of poetic texts, the researcher benefited from satire poetry as being close to the concept of symbolic violence, as it included many of its meanings and images.
