This research examines endowments during the Ottoman Empire's rule in the countries of the Arab East (1830-1918). The study clarifies the concept of endowments and their administrative organization in the Ottoman Empire, and the importance of these endowments to Arab society religiously, socially, culturally, and economically. It also highlights traditional and contemporary methods for investing in endowments and developing them sustainably to ensure the well-being of society and future generations.
This research consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, and recommendations. The first chapter addresses the Ottoman endowment in the Arab East (1830-1918). The second chapter addresses endowments and social justice. The third chapter explains endowments and sustainable development
